Craig Lambert has been a barrister with a wide practice since being called to the Bar in 2007. Craig was a floor member of Blackstone Chambers from 2007 until 2018 and is a current floor member of 6th Floor, Windeyer Chambers, Australia's pre-eminent Native Title floor.

 

From 1988 until being admitted to practice in 2006, Craig was the founder and Managing Director of AQCS Consulting, a well-known and respected consulting firm specialising in occupational health and safety, environmental, industrial relations, compliance, quality management and process re-engineering.

 

Craig has been a member of the Industrial Employment, Health & safety Committee of the NSW Bar Association since 2021. He is also appointed to the Crown Prosecutor Panel of the Commonwealth DPP and Private Briefing Panels of the NSW DPP and the NSW Commissioner of Fair Trading, has appeared as an Acting Crown, and is regularly briefed by the Commissioner in, disciplinary, licencing and occupational matters. Craig is also an accredited arbitrator appointed to the panel of court appointed arbitrators by the Chief Magistrate of NSW.

 

Craig has a wide and varied practice but tends to specialise in Employment Law, Consumer Law, Commercial Disputes between corporations, Franchise Disputes, Lease Disputes, Building and Construction, Partnership Disputes and Dissolution, Administrative Law particularly disciplinary, licencing and occupational merit reviews concerning licenced builders, certifiers, real estate agents and motor dealers, Administrative Appeals, complex Property Law matters, in particular concerning caveats and covenants, Civil Fraud, Family and De Facto Parenting and Property disputes and Guardianship matters.

Craig has presented a number of papers for the City of Sydney Law Society Lecture Series, most recently in October 2018, Does A Judgment Debt for Moneys Obtained by Fraud Survive BankruptcyAs well as October 2017, Circumstances that may constitute the surrender of a lease by operation of the law. Craig also presented a paper for the Eastern Suburbs Law Society Timetables and Case Management.
