Eric was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1983 before being called to the Bar in 1999. Prior to being called to the Bar, Eric worked as a solicitor in private practice following his admission to practice.

Since being called to the Bar, Eric’s main areas of practice has been in Commercial, Equity, and Building and Construction.  Eric regularly appears in the Local, District and Supreme Court, as well as the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).
