Readership at Sixth Floor Windeyer Chambers

Sixth Floor Windeyer Chambers invites expressions of interest from prospective Readers intending to undertake the Bar Practice Course for Readership accommodation in 2026 and 2027.

Readership Programs commence May and September each year. Successful applicants are offered 12 months of accommodation at $600 (excl. GST) per month, plus disbursements.

Sixth Floor Windeyer Chambers is a well-established Sydney Chambers, with very collegial members. It's members include a numbers of Australia's leading Native Title Counsel, experience Criminal Law Practitioners and Barristers who regularly appear in the Land and Environment Court (Which is housed in the same building as our Chambers).

It is preferable for successful applicants to have a member of the floor as one of their Tutors.
